SER Limited is seeking a Fire Alarm Installation Engineer to service, maintain and fault-find across fire alarm and emergency lighting systems in Northampton and surrounding areas. You will cover a varied portfolio of commercial sites, ensuring systems are maintained to a high standard and customers receive a reliable, professional service.

They offer a strong package with a company van, commission on upgrades, and opportunities for progression within an established team.

Formación

• 2 years’ experience in fire alarm engineering.
• Strong service and maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of emergency lighting systems.

FIRE ALARM INSTALLATION ENGINEER

Northampton & Surrounding Areas | £38,000–£43,000 DOE

An established fire and security specialist with over 65 years of industry experience is looking to recruit a Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Engineer to cover Northampton and the surrounding areas.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining and fault-finding across fire alarm and emergency lighting systems throughout Northampton and the surrounding areas.

You’ll work across a varied portfolio of commercial sites, ensuring systems are maintained to a high standard and customers receive a reliable, professional service.

Sites You'll Cover

• Schools and educational buildings
• Offices and commercial premises
• Factories and industrial sites
• Trading estates
• Gyms and leisure facilities
• Retail premises
• HMOs

Systems & Manufacturers

Experience with systems such as:

• Advanced
• Kentec
• C-TEC
• Fike
• Hyfire

What's In It For You?

• £38,000–£43,000 salary, depending on experience
• Company van with limited personal use
• Commission for identifying additional work, upgrades and replacement parts
• Average additional commission of around £500 per month, with potential to earn more
• 20 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service
• 30 minutes travel time each way
• Overtime paid at time and a half after 40 hours
• Double time on Sundays and bank holidays
• FIA and manufacturer training
