Qualifications

• Five years' experience installing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Strong knowledge of UK fire alarm standards and BS 5839.
• Experience with conventional, addressable and wireless systems.
• FIA certifications or an equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission fire alarm systems.
• Complete planned and reactive maintenance.
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Test conventional, addressable and wireless fire alarm systems.
• Complete system modifications and upgrades.
• Ensure all work complies with BS 5839 and current legislation.
• Produce accurate service reports and test records.
• Identify defects and remedial work as needed.
• Communicate with customers and site representatives.
• Maintain the company vehicle, tools and equipment.
