Energy Jobline CVL is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Engineer to install, service, and fault-find fire alarm systems across Hampshire. The role covers commercial, industrial, and residential sites, ensuring compliance with current regulations.

You will diagnose faults, complete service reports, and liaise with clients and site managers. A full UK driving licence, FIA units, and CSCS/ECS cards are required, with opportunities for on-call duties and career progression.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Fire Alarm Engineer to carry out the installation, servicing, maintenance, and fault-finding of fire alarm systems across Hampshire. The role involves working across commercial, industrial, and residential sites, ensuring all systems comply with current regulations and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain fire alarm systems in line with BS 5839 standards
• Service and maintain existing fire alarm systems
• Diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs
• Complete accurate service reports, certificates, and documentation
• Liaise professionally with clients, site managers, and other engineers
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with health & safety regulations
• Participate in an on-call rota where required
• Manage tools, equipment, and company vehicle responsibly

Systems Experience (Desirable)

• Conventional and addressable fire alarm systems
• Knowledge of manufacturers such as Gent, Apollo, Advanced, Notifier, C-Tec, or similar
• Basic understanding of emergency lighting (advantageous but not essential)
