Job summary

Momentum Security Recruitment is seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer for a home-based role covering the south of England. You will install and maintain fire alarms, service extinguishers, and conduct fire risk assessments across client sites.

The role offers a £41k salary (up to) with a company vehicle, overtime opportunities, and a Monday–Friday, 42-hour week, with no on-call rota. Candidates should have relevant experience and a full driving license, and will receive ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role such as fire alarm engineer or security systems engineer.
• Must hold a full driving license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and install fire alarms.
• Service and install fire extinguishers.
• Carry out fire risk assessments.
• Ensure work complies with British standards and BAFE accreditations.
• Provide fire safety training to staff.
• Conduct site surveys and compile reports.

Fire Alarm Engineer

Location: Home based - candidates can be based anywhere in the south of England.

Salary: Up to £41k + vehicle, corporate benefits. Overtime opportunities x1.5.

Hours: Monday to Friday (42 hours per week). No on-call rota.

This is a field-based role covering various company sites across the south of England. Your role will focus on the install and maintenance of fire alarms, install and service of fire extinguishers and conducting fire risk assessments. Working for a global brand you will be supported with ongoing training and development opportunities.
