Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking a Fire Alarm Engineer to cover Plymouth and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain and fault-find fire alarm systems across commercial sites, with door-to-door pay and overtime rates after 37 hours.

This full-time permanent role requires an electrical qualification, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work autonomously on a varied workload in local areas.

Our client is a well-established and growing fire and security specialist, seeking a skilled Fire Alarm Engineer to join their team covering Plymouth and the surrounding areas. The Role

You'll be responsible for the service, maintenance, fault finding, and occasional installation of fire alarm systems across a range of commercial, retail and industrial sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Service and maintain fire alarm systems.
• Diagnose and rectify faults efficiently.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance.
• Complete small installation and upgrade works as required.
• Ensure all work complies with current industry standards and regulations.
• Complete job reports and paperwork accurately.
