Wolviston Management Services is seeking a Fire Alarm & Emergency Lighting Service Engineer to join our team covering the York area. You will maintain, service, fault-find and repair fire alarm and emergency lighting systems across commercial and industrial sites.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire alarm systems.
• Experience with emergency lighting systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
• Excellent customer-facing and communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance on fire alarm and emergency lighting systems.
• Respond to service call-outs, diagnose faults, and complete repairs efficiently.
• Conduct system testing, inspections, and remedial works in line with industry standards.
• Complete and maintain accurate service reports, risk assessments, and documentation.
• Provide technical advice and recommendations to customers.
