Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Product Manager for a permanent, predominantly remote position in the FinTech and banking technology sector. The role bridges customer needs, commercial objectives and technology delivery to shape innovative financial technology products.

You will own the product strategy and roadmap, engage with customers to identify priorities, translate requirements into deliverables and collaborate with Engineering and Commercial teams to drive successful product delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience in Product Management within FinTech, banking, payments or financial services technology.
• Strong understanding of product strategy, roadmap ownership and agile product delivery.
• Experience gathering requirements and conducting customer discovery.
• Knowledge of software development processes and the ability to work effectively with Engineering teams.
• Understanding of payments, banking infrastructure, APIs or related financial technology.
• Strong customer and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to connect product decisions with business objectives.
• Excellent communication, presentation and product demonstration skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the product strategy, vision and roadmap
• Engage directly with customers and end clients to understand challenges, requirements and priorities
• Translate customer needs into clear product requirements, user stories and technical deliverables
• Work closely with Engineering, Commercial, Operations and other internal stakeholders to support successful product delivery
• Lead agile product delivery activities, prioritising features and managing product backlogs
• Prepare and deliver customer workshops, product demonstrations and presentations
• Support commercial discussions and contribute to presales activity where appropriate
• Maintain strong relationships with customers while ensuring products meet business and market requirements
