Plaid is expanding its UK and EU presence and seeks a New Business Associate to fuel growth by generating high-quality pipeline. You will partner with Account Executives, design outreach strategies, and open doors to fintechs across the region.

The role suits someone curious, driven, and thriving in a fast-paced, high-standard environment. You will identify and engage prospective customers, map organisations, and build multi-channel outreach.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to grasp complex concepts quickly.
• Demonstrated drive, resilience, and a proactive approach to problem solving.
• Some experience in a client-facing or commercial role (sales, CS, partnerships, or equivalent).
• Comfort working in a high-ownership, high-expectation environment.
• Collaborative mindset and eagerness to learn from peers.
• Curiosity about fintech, APIs, and financial infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Drive high-quality meetings that convert into qualified opportunities.
• Conduct account research and develop strategic outreach cadences.
• Collaborate with AEs to build and execute account plans.
• Manage pipeline progress through Salesforce and internal tooling.
• Support the go-to-market strategy for UK and EU prospects.
• Contribute to the development of outbound campaigns in partnership with Marketing.
• Participate in team initiatives including onboarding new hires and operational projects.
• Nurture early-stage and dormant opportunities to drive incremental pipeline.
