Job summary

We Recruit Group Ltd in Sittingbourne is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to lead finishing trades on high-quality new-build housing developments. You will coordinate subcontractors and supervise on-site workmanship to safeguard safety and quality.

Role requires proven residential finishing experience, CSCS, driving licence, and SMSTS/SSSTS. You will ensure timely handovers to customers with NHBC readiness and a strong commitment to on-site safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Finishing Foreman in residential housebuilding.
• Strong knowledge of interior and exterior finishing trades.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive approach to quality.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and meet deadlines.
• CSCS card holder and valid UK driving licence.
• First Aid at Work certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage finishing works across a busy residential housing development.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
• Carry out quality inspections and snagging, ensuring defects are rectified promptly.
• Prepare plots for NHBC inspections and customer handovers.
• Collaborate with Site Manager to achieve build programmes.
• Maintain excellent health and safety standards on site.
• Ensure plots meet company quality standards and programme requirements.
• Liaise with Customer Care and Sales teams to ensure smooth completions.

• Liaise with Customer Care and Sales teams where required to ensure smooth completions.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman within residential housebuilding.

• Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and meet tight deadlines.
• SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
• Valid CSCS Card.
