Job summary

O'Neill & Brennan is seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman for a long-term residential project in Derby. The role focuses on overseeing finishing trades and coordinating subcontractors to maintain high workmanship standards.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in residential finishing works, strong health and safety practices, and the ability to drive progress against programme deadlines on site.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on residential projects.
• Valid CSCS card.
• SMSTS certification.
• First Aid certification.
• Strong knowledge of residential finishing works.
• Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.

Position: Finishing Foreman

We are currently looking for an experienced Finishing Foreman to join a long-term residential construction project in Derby.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential finishing works and proven experience managing finishing trades and subcontractors through the later stages of a development.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing and coordinating finishing trades on site.
• Managing subcontractors and ensuring works are completed to a high standard.
• Monitoring progress and working to programme deadlines.
• Carrying out quality checks and managing snagging.
• Coordinating with the Site Management team and other trades.
• Ensuring areas are completed and ready for handover.
• Maintaining high standards of health, safety and workmanship.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on residential projects.
