Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd seeks an experienced Finishing Foreman/Finishing Manager to oversee final construction stages on a Newport residential development. The role ensures plots are finished to high quality, on time, and handed over to customers, with adherence to NHBC standards.

The position requires coordinating finishing trades, managing multiple subcontractors, and maintaining safety on site, with a Monday–Friday pattern for a two-month contract.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with Site Manager, Customer Care and subcontractors to resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with NHBC standards and company quality expectations.
• Monitor progress and report on plot completions.
• Maintain a safe working environment and health & safety procedures.

new build residential development in Newport.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced

Finishing Foreman, Finishing Manager, or Assistant Site Manager to oversee the final stages of a high-quality housing development, ensuring plots are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards ready for customer handover.

Key Duties

• Manage all finishing trades across occupied and completed plots.
• Coordinate subcontractors to ensure works are completed in line with the programme.
• Carry out quality inspections and maintain high finishing standards.
• Manage snagging and de-snagging works through to final handover.
• Liaise with the Site Manager, Customer Care team, and subcontractors to resolve outstanding issues.
• Ensure plots are completed in accordance with NHBC standards and company quality expectations.
• Monitor progress and report on plot completions.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure all health and safety procedures are followed.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Finishing Foreman, Finishing Manager, Assistant Site Manager, or Site Manager within new build housing developments.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality plot finishes and customer handovers.
• Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and residential quality requirements.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and prioritise workloads effectively.
• Valid SMSTS, CSCS card, and First Aid at Work certificate.
