Job summary

Barker Ross is seeking a Finisher/Snagger to support high-quality new build homes at our Bardney site in Lincolnshire. Immediate start, 1 month of work.

The role involves completing finishing works, addressing snag lists from site management and NHBC, and ensuring homes are finished to a high standard before handover to buyers. It also includes minor repairs and detailed communication with the Site Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in snagging/finishing on residential new builds.
• Multi-skilled background (carpentry, decorating, light plastering or mastic work) desirable.
• Valid CSCS Card is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete final finishing works on internal and external areas of new build homes.
• Work through snag lists issued by site management, NHBC, or customer care representatives.
• Ensure homes are completed to a high standard before handover to buyers.
• Rectify defects, cosmetic issues, or outstanding trades works.
• Carry out minor repairs (painting, silicone, patch plastering, carpentry fixes, door/window adjustments).
• Communicate progress with the Site Manager and Assistant Site Manager to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Maintain a clean and professional working environment in finished plots.

We are seeking an experienced Finisher/Snagger to support the delivery of high-quality new build homes at our Bardney site in Lincolnshire. This is an immediate start role with a reputable SME developer known for high standards and attention to detail.

Location: Bardney, Lincolnshire

Start Date: Immediate, 1 Months work

Pay Rate: Competitive, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Completing all final finishing works on internal and external areas of new build homes

Requirements

• Previous experience in snagging/finishing roles on residential new builds
