Job summary

Sofidel in the UK is seeking a Finished Goods Warehouse Operator at our Hamilton Plant. The role is 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00) with a per hour rate of £13 and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will manage goods storage, prepare loading areas, and ensure safety, quality and timely dispatch of finished goods. You will work within a driven team, operate forklifts, maintain documentation and contribute to accurate stock control in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• Must hold a valid FLT Counterbalance Licence (reach/clamp experience desirable).
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow site rules and safe working practices.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment.
• Move pallets and store them in correct storage bays for space optimization.
• Manage warehouse operations in line with system requirements and work instructions.
• Prepare the loading area according to the loading schedule with correct load and signed documentation.
• Load trucks when required.
• Perform daily equipment checks and report faults to maintain operations.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.
• Observe products and report any damage or quality issues.
• Carry out periodic stocktaking and other reasonable requests.
• Collaborate with Day services and Shift teams to support colleagues.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards across all areas.
• Adhere to Health & Safety rules at all times.
