Job summary

Hedonism Wines in London’s Mayfair district seeks a dedicated Fine Wine Cellar Assistant to support daily cellar operations, including receiving, organizing, and storing wines and spirits to high quality standards.

You will rotate stock, label bottles, and prepare orders for collection or dispatch, while maintaining a clean cellar and collaborating with sales and the sommelier team to ensure product availability. Some customer-facing duties in-store may apply.

Qualifications

• Strong interest in wine and spirits, with developing skills in Wine Education, Sommelier practices, and broader Beverage Industry knowledge.
• Experience in Wine Sales and Customer Service, with professional communication.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills for inventory, stock rotation, labeling, and cellar presentation.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving cases of wine and working in a cellar environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, organize, and store wines and spirits according to quality and safety standards.
• Manage stock rotation, labeling, and inventory checks.
• Prepare orders for in-store collection and dispatch.
• Maintain a clean, orderly cellar and collaborate with sales/sommelier teams.
• Assist customers on the shop floor with bottle locating and basic product questions, and help set up tastings or displays.
