Job summary

Soho House in London is seeking a Waiter/Waitress to deliver refined, attentive service to our members and guests. You will work closely with floor and kitchen teams to ensure a seamless dining experience while upholding the Club’s standards of discretion and excellence.

Your role includes greeting guests, taking orders, offering recommendations and guiding payments through our systems. Join a dynamic team with extensive benefits and ongoing professional training.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in a similar high-end dining environment.
• Thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and maintain calm under pressure.
• Hospitable, approachable and passionate about customer service, respectful to colleagues and guests.
• Able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays, and work well in a team or autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Greet members warmly, present menus, and engage guests from seating.
• Take accurate food and drink orders, noting allergies or dietary needs.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar to ensure timely, correct delivery of orders.
• Provide knowledgeable menu recommendations, including pairings.
• Maintain exemplary table service and proactive refilling of water and wine.
• Keep the dining area pristine, setting and resetting tables as needed.
• Handle member requests with discretion to create memorable experiences.
• Process payments via card, Soho House App, or House Pay.
• Uphold professionalism with VIPs and PWKs and support teammates as needed.
