The Lanesborough, part of Oetker Hotels, invites applications for a Commis Waiter/Waitress in the Library Bar at The Lanesborough. You will deliver attentive, personalised service in a vibrant, fast-paced luxury setting on Sloane Street, near Hyde Park.

Ideal candidates will have fine dining experience, excellent English, a passion for cocktails, wine pairing, and a hands-on approach to guest care, with a commitment to immaculate grooming and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within a fine dining restaurant in a luxury establishment is essential and experience within a Michelin star restaurant is preferable
• Excellent command of the English language and a second language would be preferred
• Immaculate grooming standards.
• Preferably excellent knowledge of wine & food pairing.
• Show drive and passion for Excellent Customer Service
• Please note this role requires an element of manual handling

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalised service in a vibrant and fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively with guests and colleagues
• Recommend, upsell and promote drinks and menu items
