This is a permanent, full-time position, working Monday - Friday 09:00 - 17:00.

Maintaining accurate stock levels by monitoring deliveries, liaising with suppliers, and coordinating shipments, while ensuring inventory costs are controlled. Creating and uploading purchase orders with correct financial coding and providing key support to the Financial Controller for tracking and reporting. Supporting consumables forecasting by maintaining accurate stock records and monitoring supply usage. Packaging and sending orders to customers and external laboratories.

• Create and upload purchase orders (POs) in line with Group purchasing guidelines, ensuring correct GCC and TCC codes are applied.
• Send complete PO details to the Financial Controller to ensure timely tracking and reporting.
• Support consumables forecasting by maintaining accurate records of supply usage and stock trends.
• Receive and receipt stock accurately, ensuring timely updates in the system.
• Maintain and manage inventory, including stock rotation, expiry date checks, and monitoring stock levels against security.
• Liaise with Operations Manager to have accurate information of the lab workflow.
• Monitor stock levels and costs to avoid overstocking while maintaining operational availability.
• Work closely with suppliers to monitor deliveries and coordinate any delays.
• Place orders for stock, laboratory supplies, and equipment as needed.
• Maintain stores to an acceptable standard, ensuring good laboratory practice (GLP) is followed.
• Support Quality Assurance by assisting with supplier reviews and non-conformance reporting.
• Report any non-conformances or near misses using local and company QMS and Health and Safety systems.
• Always adhere to company SOPs, ISO 15189, and Quality Management System (QMS).
• Take responsibility for the health and safety of yourself and your colleagues.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure a smooth flow of work.
