Job summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a finance officer for a 12-month fixed-term secondment in the Continuing Healthcare finance team. You will verify, prepare and pay CHC and Funded Nursing Care placements to independent providers, input data into the board's systems and help keep control accounts accurate.

The role supports flexible and remote working, requires strong numeracy and communication skills, and Welsh language ability is desirable though English speakers are welcome.

Job description

This 12-month fixed-term secondment sits in the Continuing Healthcare finance team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. It covers verifying, preparing and paying Continuing Healthcare and Funded Nursing Care placements with independent providers, plus inputting data and keeping control accounts accurate. Remote working and flexible arrangements are offered, and Welsh is desirable though English speakers are equally welcome. Applicants on secondment need their line manager's permission before applying.
