Job summary

BCUHB North Wales seeks a Finance Administration Officer (Band 3) for Continuing Healthcare finance. This fixed-term/secondment post is based at Preswylfa, Mold, with potential for flexible/home working and 37.5 hours per week.

You will verify, prepare and pay CHC and Funded Nursing Care placements, input data, analyse financial information and support the team with accurate accounting records. Welsh language ability is desirable.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths grade C or higher.
• GCSE English grade C or higher.
• University Degree level 2:2.
• Understanding of accounting theories and processes including book-keeping.
• Excellent written and oral communication and numeracy skills.
• Ability to relate to staff at all levels. Team player.

Responsibilities

• Support the CHC Finance team in verification, preparation and payment of Continuing Healthcare and Funded Nursing Care placements to independent providers.
• Input data to Health Board computer systems, analyse data, ensure control accounts are accurate and provide assistance to the team.
