Graduate Programme Overview

Develop a broad understanding of Financial Services through practical experience across a range of departments.

Work towards your Diploma in Financial Planning and insurance qualifications, with mentoring and support throughout.

On our three-year graduate scheme, you'll gain practical experience across different areas of Financial Services. You'll rotate through our teams and learn how we support customers, manage products and work within a regulated industry. Each placement will help you build a broad range of skills and discover where your strengths and interests lie.

Your placements may include

• Operations team - keep things running smoothly, manage our pension, investment, and protection products from the moment a customer signs up through to policy maturity.
• Financial Advisers - really get to know our customers, helping them find the right life insurance, pension, investment and wealth management products that fit their needs.
• Governance and Risk - make sure everything runs efficiently and safely, implementing smart processes and keeping us on track with regulatory guidelines.

You'll be based in Stratford-upon-Avon, with hybrid working depending on business needs. Regular office time will help you collaborate with your team and learn from experienced colleagues.

Please note this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship as it does not fulfil the criteria set by the Home Office.

This is a three-year programme.

Candidates must have, or be able to obtain, permission to work in the UK in a way that enables them to undertake the role and complete the programme.

What you can expect

Some travel will be required during your first year.

As you progress through the scheme, you'll work across different departments. This will help you understand our Financial Services strategy and how each team contributes to it. In your final year, you'll move into a Non-Advised Sales Consultant role. You'll contact existing customers to discuss our Financial Services products. This role will help you develop your sales skills, customer communication skills and deepen your product knowledge. This is fantastic foundation if you're interested in becoming a Financial Adviser. You'll also have opportunities to support projects across our Agency Network. These may involve changes to regulations, systems or processes. We'll support your career development throughout the scheme with a structured plan, performance reviews twice a year, and the potential for competitive salary increases and progression. You'll receive support as you work towards your Diploma in Financial Planning, ensuring you're fully equipped for your career ahead.

Your future This scheme is designed to support you as you work towards your Diploma in Financial Planning. You'll also work towards relevant Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) qualifications, building the core insurance knowledge and practical skills you need for a successful career in Financial Services. You'll be supported by experienced colleagues, a dedicated buddy and a mentor who will help you maximise your development and career opportunities. You'll also be part of a strong graduate community, with opportunities to connect with current and former graduates, build your network and learn from others on similar schemes. As you come towards the end of the scheme, a careers coach will help you think about your next role and plan your next steps. It's not all about work either. • Criteria - You'll need at least a 2:2 degree in any subject., You'll need to have achieved, or be on track for, at least a 2:2 degree. While your degree doesn't need to be in a specific subject, we do prefer candidates who thrive in a target-driven environment and approach work with a positive attitude.

Work experience Industry experience or a placement year during your degree would be a real advantage, but it isn't essential.
