We have an exciting opportunity to join the Finance & Investment Risk Business Partnering (F&I RBP) team at Aviva as a Risk Manager. If you have accounting/finance experience in a large firm and are ready to advance your career, we want to hear from you!

About the role:

This role is crucial to our strategic growth, providing oversight to a large-scale, business-led change program. You will report to a Senior Risk Manager within the F&I RBP team, working within a matrix structure during the program's lifecycle, before shifting focus to overseeing Financial Operations and supporting Finance Change.

Impactful work: You will be central to a transformation program that offers insights into various finance processes and risks. Your work will drive meaningful change and help shape our finance operations' future.

Collaborative environment: Partner with leaders delivering finance transformation and change activities. Build strong relationships and deepen your understanding of relevant processes, systems, and data.

Influence: Develop into a subject matter expert, collaborating with stakeholders across finance, using your expertise to generate ideas, challenge processes, and support delivery.

Leadership and guidance: Work with project stakeholders and management to influence risk management strategies across finance. Use your finance knowledge to identify and manage risks through thorough review and challenge of plans.

Skills and experience:

• Qualifications: Qualified or nearly qualified accountant with recent experience in Financial Reporting or Insurance Operations and Change projects.
• Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written skills, able to convey complex information clearly to non-experts.
• Relationship management: Strong skills to achieve objectives through others and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Industry knowledge: A good understanding of the financial services industry is preferred but not essential.
