Job Description:

We’re recruiting for a Financial Reporting Oversight Senior Analyst to join us. We’re offering a competitive base salary.

This role is crucial in ensuring the accuracy and compliance of fund financial statements and share class distribution rate calculations.

What you’ll be doing:
  1. Overseeing and reviewing the production of fund financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  2. Collaborating with auditors and fund administrators to ensure regulatory standards are met.
  3. In time, acting as the primary contact for annual audits; training and support will be provided to get you to this level.
  4. Resolving queries and driving continuous improvement.
  5. Overseeing and reviewing share class distribution rates, ensuring correct calculations and payments.
  6. Managing relationships with key stakeholders, including fund administrators, auditors, and compliance teams.
  7. Reviewing the accuracy of fee accruals and payments.
  8. Participating in team meetings, providing status updates, and escalating key issues.
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for:
  1. Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as UCITS and AIFMD Regulations.
  2. Understanding of accounting standards including FRS102, IFRS, and Lux GAAP.
  3. Familiarity with investment funds, financial markets, and financial instruments.
  4. Experience with governance structures and regulatory oversight.
  5. Proficiency in net asset value calculations and share class distribution calculations.
  6. Ability to manage relationships with key stakeholders, including fund administrators and auditors.
  7. Qualified accountant or studying towards a professional accountancy qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
  8. Experience within the financial services industry in auditing, fund administration, or asset management.
