Job summary

Mourant is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to deliver consolidated financial statements and management reporting. The role partners with senior leaders, driving commercially focused financial insight and timely information in a fast-paced, in-house finance team.

Key duties include monthly consolidation, MI development, P&L reporting, cashflow forecasting and board/audit support, while actively engaging with stakeholders to enable strategic decision making.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with accounting experience.
• Strong commercial awareness and analytical/problem-solving ability.
• Ability to interpret data and communicate findings clearly.
• Confident in building relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience with practice management systems like Elite 3e; Viewpoint is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare annual consolidated financial statements and individual entity statements.
• Consolidate group entities monthly and provide analysis and commentary.
• Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis.
• Develop MI to support decisions and provide insights.
• Partner with senior leaders to provide timely financial support.
• Assist in implementing financial technology for smarter practices.
• Collaborate with Finance team to deliver seamless finance operations.
• Prepare P&L reports, cashflow forecasts and annual budgets with stakeholders.
• Support board and audit reporting.
• Complete tax computations and returns.
