Job summary

We are partnering with a growing boutique accounting and financial reporting firm in Theale, Berkshire, seeking an experienced Financial Reporting Manager to join a talented and expanding team. The role offers autonomy, exposure to listed company reporting, and a challenging, client-focused environment.

You will lead on complex projects, manage a diverse portfolio, and mentor junior staff while building strong client relationships and delivering high-quality financial statements and analyses.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualification is required or expected.
• Strong practical experience of IFRS, FRS102 and UK GAAP reporting frameworks.
• Experience in a Top 20 accounting practice would be advantageous.
• Experience delivering client projects from planning through to completion.
• Excellent financial reporting knowledge and client communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of financial reporting projects from planning through to completion.
• Deliver high-quality financial reporting solutions to clients.
• Lead on complex and judgemental areas of client work.
• Support Business Directors and senior engagement teams across client engagements.
• Coach, mentor and delegate effectively to trainees and junior members of the team.
• Review work and provide constructive feedback to support development of others.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows and client delivery.
