We’re looking for a driven and detail‑obsessed Finance Reporting Manager who can bring clarity, insight, and leadership to our financial reporting landscape. Based in our Reading office (just two days a week), you’ll be a key figure in our finance team, ensuring our reporting is accurate, compliant, insightful, and continuously improving. This is an ideal role for a technically strong accountant who wants more visibility, more influence, and more challenge.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead the end‑to‑end production of monthly, quarterly, and year‑end financial statements in line with IFRS/UK GAAP.
• Own the month‑end close, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery.
• Drive group consolidations and produce polished management reporting packs for senior leadership.
• Be the audit lead, coordinating annual audits and building strong relationships with external auditors.
• Strengthen our internal controls and governance, making sure we stay compliant and resilient.
• Provide insight‑rich analysis and clear variance explanations that bring performance to life.
• Collaborate with business units to enhance forecasting, budgeting, and decision‑making.
• Improve our systems and processes, championing automation and smarter ways of working.
• Mentor and develop team members — helping build a high‑performing finance function.

What You’ll Bring

• A recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong technical accounting expertise and hands‑on reporting experience in a mid‑to‑large organisation.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and/or UK GAAP.
• Exceptional analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
• Confidence juggling multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Experience leading or mentoring others is a bonus — but passion for developing people is just as valuable.
