MERJE is partnered with a leading Building Society in their search for professionals to join their Asset & Liabilities Teams on a 12-month FTC basis.
This is a fixed-term opportunity to join the Asset & Liability Management team within the Balance Sheet Control directorate as a specialist ALM manager, focusing on the Hedge Management project within the Governance, Risk, and Control programme. The successful candidate will transform reporting for senior leadership committees, including the Society’s ALCO.
You will be responsible for delivering key aspects of the hedge management project, collaborating with colleagues across the ALM team, wider Finance function, and trading. Your tasks will include reviewing existing reporting methods, developing a plan, and implementing transformation of committee reporting to support senior decision-making, considering both internal and external factors. This role does not include line management responsibilities but requires significant stakeholder engagement.
As a reporting specialist with knowledge of financial risk management and experience communicating with senior audiences, you will join an established team with diverse experience in Asset and Liability Management. This role is ideal for someone with a strong risk reporting background eager to deepen their expertise in financial risk management.
You will enhance your skills to support this specialized area within the Balance Sheet Control directorate. A solid understanding of the balance sheet, corporate structure, and data/reporting landscape is essential. Additionally, you will promote a positive risk management culture.
