This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious finance professional to join our fast-growing, well-backed travel organization. Since 2021, the Group has doubled in size, and we plan to continue this growth. We are recruiting a high-caliber Group Reporting Manager to develop our finance team.
Role overview
Primary responsibility for preparing the Group's quarterly and full-year consolidation and reporting.
Serve as the key contact for Group quarterly and annual audits, maintaining strong relationships with audit managers, partners, divisional FDs, and owners.
Assist in preparing statutory accounts for approximately 25 entities and 4 consolidations, meeting tight deadlines.
Support complex technical accounting, postings, and adjustments in the consolidation process.
Provide technical accounting advice, especially regarding IFRS standards and business changes.
Contribute to P&L flash reporting to guide business performance analysis.
Maintain a strong knowledge base to evaluate operational impacts on financial statements and advise on appropriate treatments.
Support divisional finance teams with accounting implications for commercial decisions.
Standardize accounting policies across the Group, ensuring consistency and compliance with standards.
Assist in maintaining balance sheet controls and reconciliations.
Support the Head of Group Financial Reporting with technical papers and adherence to accounting policies.
Coordinate with tax advisors to ensure compliance and clarity on tax positions.
Oversee quarterly tax estimates and ensure accurate postings.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations.
Qualifications and experience required include full ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification, excellent communication skills, strong IFRS knowledge, experience with audits, and familiarity with ERP and statutory software. Proven ability to drive process improvements and manage projects under tight deadlines is essential.
