Base pay range

We’re excited to be recruiting for two Financial Reporting Managers on fixed-term contracts, each offering a unique opportunity to make an impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Role 1 will focus on managing the financial and management reporting and compliance for our royalty, management and other head office companies, including accounting across the wider Virgin Group. Role 2 will support our Financial Controller in our Loyalty Business across financial and management reporting, operational controls, and technical accounting.

Both roles offer the opportunity to be part of a high-performing finance team within a globally recognised brand. Both positions play a vital role in driving excellence and reflect our commitment to making finance a great place to work. Are you ready to take the next step in your career and immerse yourself in a globally recognised brand? If so, then we’d love to hear from you!

Our Virgin Family

Join the Virgin Group – a diverse collective driving change, enhancing customer experience, and having a blast. We're daring, disrupting industries from finance to space, united as part of the Virgin Family.

Together, we unlock unique experiences, foster deep customer connections, and drive forward our purpose, to Change Business for Good.

We’re a huge brand, but not a huge team, which means we take a hands-on approach while thinking strategically. Everyone rolls up their sleeves to get things done, making it an exciting and collaborative place to work.

Tell me more

In both roles, you'll:

  • Lead on month-end close, management reporting, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Drive statutory reporting and audits, ensuring IFRS compliance
  • Oversee VAT and tax submissions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strengthen controls, update finance policies, and support system/process improvements

The roles differ slightly in focus:

Role 1: Focuses on our royalty, management services and other head office entities, including accounting for royalties, intangibles, and intercompany transactions, plus acting as a system super-user.

Role 2: Supports our Loyalty Business, including technical accounting standards, cost of sales chart of accounts and fixed asset reporting.

What you’ll need

We’re looking for qualified accountants (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with strong post-qualification experience (2–3+ years), excellent communication skills, and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.

  • Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, UK GAAP)
  • Hands-on experience with statutory accounts and audits
  • Solid understanding of VAT and Corporation Tax
  • Proven ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality reporting
  • Advanced Excel and good systems literacy
  • Confidence working on complex transactions and stakeholder reporting
  • Strength in designing and automating finance processes
  • Familiarity with the UK Companies Act and non-financial reporting
  • An audit background and multi-currency reporting experience
  • Strong stakeholder engagement across tax, audit, and outsourced providers
