Anderson Knight Recruitment is delighted to be working with one of our key clients, a leading global engineering business, to recruit a Financial Reporting Manager. As the Financial Reporting Manager, you will take ownership of the statutory reporting for the UK Group Companies. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting and ensuring compliance. This is a critical role within the finance team, offering the opportunity to lead and develop processes within a global business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the preparation and submission of statutory accounts for UK Group Companies.
2. Review the work of the financial reporting team to ensure accuracy and compliance.
3. Manage the reporting timetable to meet internal and external deadlines.
4. Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the team and stakeholders.
5. Liaise with external auditors to facilitate year-end audits.
6. Continuously improve financial reporting processes and controls.
7. Work closely with finance and non-finance colleagues to ensure accurate and timely reporting.

Candidate Requirements:

1. CA / ACCA Qualified
2. Previous experience within a practice environment, followed by industry experience (ideally in a global business).
3. Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
4. Proven experience in statutory reporting and managing a team.
5. Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
6. Effective communication and stakeholder management abilities.
7. Ambitious and driven, with a desire to develop and progress within a global organisation.
