IHG Hotels & Resorts is offering a Finance Placement – Financial Reporting for a 54-week placement starting 23 August 2027. The role is hybrid with a minimum of three days in the office each week, based at the Finance and Technology Hub, Branston, Burton upon Trent.

You will prepare monthly accounting reviews for the Americas and EMEA regions, support monthly and quarterly reporting by running financial reports and trial balances, and assist with UK statutory accounts including iXBRL tagging.

• Help deliver monthly and quarterly reporting by running financial reports and trial balances.
• Support the preparation of UK statutory accounts and apply iXBRL tagging, which labels financial information for filing with HMRC.
• Help prepare the Group Financial Statements section of IHG’s Annual Report and Form 20-F accounts.
• Carry out system user access reviews to support financial controls.
• Work with Treasury on bank reconciliations, banking access reviews and financial exposure reports.
• Get involved in ad-hoc global projects alongside your day-to-day reporting work.
