Job summary

Howden, a Baker Hughes company, is seeking a Financial Reporting Analyst to join the European Regional Finance team. You will support reporting, forecasting and finance activities across 16 countries and ~40 business units in a broad, multinational finance function.

You will gain exposure to financial reporting, consolidation, forecasting and governance, with opportunities to streamline processes and contribute to finance transformation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Part-qualified or recently qualified accountant (ACCA, ICAS, or CIMA).
• Experience in finance, accounting, audit or reporting environments.
• Strong Excel skills and ability to work with large data sets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Support the monthly reporting cycle across the European region.
• Assist with preparing regional financial reports and management information.
• Gather, validate and analyse information submitted by business units across Europe.
• Coordinate reporting inputs from finance teams across Europe, ensuring complete, accurate submissions.
• Investigate reporting queries and work with stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and automate reporting processes.
• Support forecasting and planning processes, including SOX governance.
