Job summary

Vantage seeks a Financial Reporting Accountant for a 12-month fixed-term maternity cover within the UK&I Finance team. You will ensure financial reporting accuracy and support the internal control environment while engaging with key stakeholders across the business.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will prepare statutory accounts, assist month-end closes, oversee consolidations for UK teams, and contribute to budgeting and variance analysis.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA accountant.
• Strong technical accounting skills.
• Experience with consolidated financial statements.
• Experience with Caseware.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, preparation and delivery of statutory accounts.
• Lead production of UK consolidations.
• Produce monthly/quarterly debt and investor reporting.
• Support audits with documentation.
• Prepare VAT return workings and reconciliations.
• Maintain general ledger accounts ensuring GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations including payroll and intercompany.
• Maintain Fixed Asset Registers and depreciation.
• Conduct variance analysis vs budgets/forecasts.
• Participate in annual budgeting and forecasts.
• Ensure internal controls and purchasing/payments compliance.
• Review and improve financial close processes.
