Job Description:

My client, a City Centre based rapidly growing, forward thinking business is looking for a Financial Reporting Accountant for a 3 Month Contract with the opportunity for this to be extended.

You will lead a small finance team, ensuring accurate and timely production of management accounts and reporting across multiple business entities in the group. This includes overseeing month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, financial audits, and stakeholder reporting. You will produce and review financial and management accounts, lead month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations, oversee audit preparation and liaise with external auditors, improve reporting processes and support financial compliance, provide mentorship, coaching, and performance management for the finance team and partner with non-financial stakeholders and contribute to strategic decisions.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with strong technical knowledge of accounting standards. You will be a confident team leader with a proven track record in people development and be a strong communicator who can explain financial information to all levels. Advanced Excel skills is essential.
