About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join the European Region's Group Accounting Team, based in our Manchester Corporate Office. This role is integral to the accurate and timely delivery of financial reporting across multiple European entities and plays a key part in supporting both regional and global finance operations.

This role is a 3 month fixed term contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the European Group Financial Controller and US Corporate team in managing year-end reporting, statutory accounts, and external audits across the European region.
• Act as a key liaison for external advisors on audit, tax compliance, and VAT matters, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Oversee monthly head office reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated EBITDA analysis for senior leadership.
• Contribute to financial planning and control processes for new business ventures across Europe, including Italy and Portugal.
• Partner with senior finance leadership to improve financial processes, maintain compliance, and support treasury management activities.
• Provide ad hoc financial support to Group Finance and Operational Teams in line with business growth and strategic priorities.

We are looking for someone with:

ACCA qualified

Proven experience in preparing statutory and consolidated financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.

Demonstrated involvement in external audits and a strong understanding of financial compliance requirements.
