It is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and transparent reporting and interpretation of financial results to support effective decision-making. This role is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

  • Assist with the development of forecasts for the business area, measure & report on progress (across cash, P&L, and balance sheet).
  • Prepare accurate and meaningful historic analysis by project (month end results, KPIs, comparison of actuals to forecasts/budget across Cash, P&L, and BS).
  • Manage 2 direct reports.
  • Ensure area reviews are conducted for projects within your responsibility—working with the operations team to ensure contracts are accurately reported, assisting with scrutinizing financial results, and challenging the business.

Who you are:

This is a varied role suitable for a detail-conscious, organized, customer-focused individual.

Key Requirements:

  • ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
  • Previous experience working in a business-facing finance role.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel.
  • Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other large ERP systems.

  • 33 days holiday, including public holidays, plus the option to buy or sell five days each year.
  • Company pension scheme.
  • A range of family-friendly policies.
  • Occupational health support and wellbeing portal.
  • Discounts on cinema, restaurants, and shopping with Telent Reward scheme.
