Management Accountant - London, United Kingdom (Hybrid)

Our Business Support teams deliver vital services to ensure the success of our business divisions, including HR, Finance, Procurement, Marketing, Legal, Commercial, Estates, Facilities, Core Technology, Security, IT, and Fleet. Every team member contributes to our lasting impact, helping keep the nation's digital infrastructure connected and protected.

This role works closely with business and senior finance stakeholders to support financial forecasts, deliver accurate reporting, and provide analysis to support decision-making. It involves assisting senior finance leaders in driving actions to meet financial targets. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.

What you’ll do:

• Collaborate with the senior finance team to provide analysis for effective decision-making.
• Assist in developing and reporting on financial forecasts and progress (cash, P&L, balance sheet).
• Prepare historic analysis by project, including month-end results, KPIs, and comparisons to forecasts/budgets.
• Manage 2 direct reports.
• Conduct area reviews for projects, work with operations to ensure accurate contract reporting, and scrutinize financial results.

Who you are:

A detail-oriented, organized, customer-focused individual.

Key Requirements:

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA part-qualified.
• Experience in a business-facing finance role.
• Good communication skills.
• Proficient in Excel.
• Experience with Oracle, SAP, or other ERP systems.
