Job summary

Saltus is seeking a Financial Planning Operations Trainer to join on a hybrid pattern, three days on site in the UK. The role involves onboarding and training advisers, paraplanners and support staff, delivering both live and remote sessions, and integrating processes after acquisitions.

You’ll lead system training for core financial planning tools, document procedures, and assess post-training competence while partnering with the Advice Quality Team on approvals.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in financial planning, especially paraplanning or planning support.
• Strong grasp of advice processes, adviser support, suitability reporting and client servicing.
• Experience as go-to person for systems and processes, mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Onboard and train new starters; deliver refresher training across Saltus.
• Deliver process and system training one-to-one and in groups, face-to-face and remotely.
• Run discovery at acquired firms and tailor integration training.
• Perform training needs analysis and design targeted solutions.
• Act as super user and trainer for core systems and document SOPs.
• Create and maintain LMS training materials and keep records.
