Job description

Job Description Kerry Robert Associates is recruiting for a Financial Planning Manager (Systems driven) for a well-known hotel group. This position will be located at the group's head office in London. The ideal candidate should have a strong background as a Group Management Accountant and possess robust reporting/consolidation skills. Additionally, being systems-driven with a solid commercial understanding of hotels is essential.

Reporting directly to the Finance Director and working closely with the executive management team, the successful candidate will oversee the implementation and management of an Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) system across the hotel portfolio. The role involves optimizing financial performance, enhancing data accuracy, and improving operational efficiency.

Extensive knowledge of the Uniform System of Accounts for the Lodging Industry (USALI) and hotel operations is essential.

Requirements
  1. EPM Implementation:
    • Lead the planning, design, and deployment of the EPM system across all hotel properties.
    • Collaborate with IT, finance, and operational teams for seamless integration.
    • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources.
  2. Financial Planning and Analysis:
    • Oversee financial planning and budgeting for the hotel portfolio.
    • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.
    • Prepare and present financial reports and forecasts to senior management.
  3. USALI Compliance:
    • Ensure financial reporting adheres to USALI standards.
    • Implement best practices for financial management in hospitality.
    • Provide training on USALI compliance.
  4. Process Improvement:
    • Identify and implement process improvements for financial operations.
    • Develop SOPs for financial processes within the EPM system.
    • Ensure compliance with controls, policies, and regulations.
Skills Needed
  • Qualifications/Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in financial planning and analysis, with experience in EPM implementation and management. Knowledge of USALI and hotel operations is essential. Hospitality industry experience is highly desirable.
  • Skills: Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in EPM systems (Infor, Adaptive Insight, Oracle Hyperion, SAP BPC, Anaplan) and financial software. Advanced Excel and data visualization skills (Power BI, Tableau). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
