The Role

This isn’t a strategic leadership role - it’s a hands on, delivery focused position that supports and enhances MLA’s existing platforms and processes. You’ll have enough autonomy to manage your remit, but with the benefit of guidance and collaboration across departments.

You'll report into the Commercial Director and work closely with the Heads of People and Finance, who act as project sponsors.

What success looks like

First 3 months:

• Confident managing the WordPress site - new pages created, content updated
• Familiar with HubSpot; a clear optimisation plan is in place
• Segmentation mapped (new biz, account management, alumni)

By 6 months:

• 4 campaigns delivered and tracked via HubSpot
• Pre-built content templates used to support marketing delivery

By 12 months:

• HubSpot is running efficiently with automated workflows and clean reporting
• Marketing content regularly uploaded and tracked
• Stakeholders using dashboards to self-serve insights

By the end of the first year, HubSpot should be functioning as an intuitive, largely self operating system for client segmentation, campaign delivery, engagement tracking, and reporting

You’ll be the one behind the scenes helping to refine and improve how everything connects and functions. Working with pre existing tools and a collaborative team, you’ll help make MLA’s systems more joined up, efficient and impactful.

What You Bring:

• Hands-on experience with HubSpot (especially workflows and dashboards)
• Confidence managing and updating a WordPress site
• Strong attention to detail and digital fluency (GA4, Excel, CRM, SEO)
• A “builder” mindset - structured, curious, and improvement-focused
• Comfortable working cross functionally and following through
• Project coordination skills - comfortable keeping things moving and nudging others toward adoption
• Curiosity, independence, and a calm, collaborative energy

Bonus points if you’ve worked in L&D, consulting, or purpose-led services, or have supported internal marketing/sales teams with systems enablement.
