Job summary

Armstrong Watson LLP in Glasgow is seeking a Financial Planning Assistant Supervisor to join our Financial Planning team. The role combines first-line admin support for Financial Planning Consultants with leadership duties for a small team of assistants.

You will manage documentation ahead of client meetings, ensure compliance, handle client queries, and coach the team. A Certificate in Financial Planning or willingness to pursue is preferred, with emphasis on accuracy and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative support within Financial Services.
• Experience supporting a Financial Advisor.
• A Certificate in Financial Planning or willingness to study.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage diaries and scheduling under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide documentation to Financial Planning Consultants before client meetings.
• Ensure compliance and client review documentation is complete.
• Respond to client queries and support review processes.
• Conduct 1-1 meetings and quarterly reviews with assistants.
• Provide training and development to the assigned team.
