e.surv Chartered Surveyors is recruiting an FP&A Manager to lead performance reporting, forecasting, and market analysis. The ideal candidate will have experience managing the entire planning cycle, with strong business partnering skills, and be a strategic thinker proficient in modeling and forecasting.

This role is based in Kettering and offers the flexibility of home working, with occasional travel to the Head Office.

Accountabilities include:

1. Reporting: Design and lead revenue performance reports, KPIs, and insights; facilitate discussions on implications and actions.
2. Cost Visibility: Monitor operating costs, identify drivers, and find opportunities for cost reduction and resource optimization.
3. Collaboration: Work with finance analysts to develop reports and KPIs; partner with the finance change team on MI/BI solutions.

Strategic Optimization:

1. Maintain awareness of market, customer, and competitor trends; model their impact on projections.
2. Support strategic planning through scenario analysis and profit modeling of various business strategies.

Planning Cycle:

1. Create a robust profit plan aligned with business strategy, including a five-year plan, annual budget, and forecasts.
2. Present plans and forecasts visually with clear narratives and transitions.

Team & Group Liaison:

1. Manage and develop an FP&A analyst; promote continuous improvement and automation.
2. Collaborate with group and divisional FP&A teams for effective planning and forecasting.

Essential Requirements:

• Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with FP&A or Commercial Finance experience.
• Strong commercial acumen and strategic mindset.
• Proven experience in creating and presenting robust financial plans, budgets, and forecasts.
• Ability to visually communicate business performance and strategies compellingly.
• Experience with financial modeling and scenario planning.
