Job summary

We Do Group in Farnborough is seeking an FP&A Manager to own budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis for a fast-paced consumer business.

You'll build financial models, challenge assumptions and provide insightful management information to senior stakeholders, shaping investment decisions and business planning for the future.

3 days in the office with clear ownership and opportunity to influence the business's future performance.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong FP&A experience at Manager or Senior Analyst level.
• Excellent financial modelling, forecasting and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel and FP&A systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and long-term planning.
• Build and develop financial models, forecasts and scenario tools.

We've got a brilliant FP&A Manager opportunity working for a fast-paced, well-known consumer business based in Farnborough.

We need someone who genuinely loves FP&A. Someone who enjoys getting into the numbers, understanding what drives performance and helping a business plan for the future.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of financial planning, forecasting and performance analysis within a busy, commercially focused business.

There is loads going on. Different products, customers, commercial challenges and growth opportunities.

We need someone who can bring structure, insight and some really strong financial planning to the table.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of exposure to senior stakeholders and a genuine opportunity to influence business decisions.

What will you actually be doing?

• Leading the annual budgeting, monthly forecasting and long-term financial planning processes.
• Building and developing financial models, forecasts and scenario planning tools.
• Analysing business performance against budgets, forecasts and strategic plans.
• Identifying key financial risks, opportunities and performance drivers.
• Delivering meaningful management information, reporting and commercial insight.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders across finance, commercial and operations.
• Supporting strategic planning, investment decisions and business cases.
• Improving forecasting accuracy, reporting processes and financial visibility.
• Challenging assumptions and helping the business make better decisions.
• Driving improvements across FP&A systems, processes and financial analysis.

Who are we looking for?

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Strong FP&A experience, ideally at FP&A Manager or Senior FP&A Analyst level, ready for the next step.
• Excellent financial modelling, forecasting and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial planning systems.
• Someone who can combine detailed financial analysis with a strong commercial understanding.
• Confident communicator who can challenge and influence senior stakeholders.
• Experience within FMCG, consumer goods, retail or another fast-paced business would be ideal.
• Proactive, commercially curious and comfortable taking ownership.
• Someone bright, capable and genuinely passionate about FP&A.
• Happy to work 3 days per week in Farnborough.
