A leading independent Financial Planning firm is seeking a Financial Planning Assistant (Client Relationship Manager) to support Financial Planners and enhance client relationships. This role offers career development opportunities, including support for obtaining professional qualifications, in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
The Role: I am recruiting a Financial Planning Assistant (Client Relationship Manager) on behalf of Wealth Matters, a leading independent Financial Planning firm based in Luton (LU1). Working in a collaborative, fast-paced, and client-focused team, you will support the Financial Planners and Paraplanners in delivering an exceptional financial planning service to Wealth Matters clients. The Financial Planning Assistant (internally titled Client Relationship Manager) helps to maintain and develop client relationships, prepare for and arrange meetings for the Financial Planners, and action all tasks arising from these meetings, ensuring high standards and adherence to tight deadlines.
The Opportunity: This role offers exceptional career development opportunities. We are happy to recruit a career Client Relationship Manager, but if you wish to progress, you will receive support to become Diploma qualified. As your skills and experience grow, there are further opportunities to become a Chartered Financial Planner or Financial Adviser.

You should possess excellent relationship-building, customer service, and administrative skills. Salary and Benefits: £30,000-£37,000 (depending on experience and increasing with exams passed) plus bonuses based on individual and company performance, 26.5 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, hybrid working, and ongoing professional development support, including funding for exams to become Diploma and Chartered qualified.
