Job summary

Clarify Consultancy Ltd seeks a commercially minded Financial/Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller in delivering monthly management information and performance analytics. You will help manage cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and cost centre analysis while driving process improvements across a multi-site retail environment.

The role requires an AAT qualification or a degree in accounting/finance, with progress toward CIMA/ACCA or QBE.

Qualifications

• AAT qualification or degree in accounting/finance
• Studying toward CIMA/ACCA or QBE
• Strong understanding of management accounts and controls

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Support daily management of the team, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and cost centre analysis
• Oversee daily accounting operations (sales/purchase ledgers, cashbook) and bank reconciliations
• Manage month-end and year-end close processes and assist with forecasting
• Liaise with auditors, external accountants and stakeholders; ensure VAT returns
• Develop best-practice processes and drive efficiencies across the business
