Job summary

Clarify Consultancy Ltd in Burnley is seeking a commercially aware Financial/Management Accountant to support the Financial Controller in preparing monthly management information and financial performance analytics.

You will prepare management accounts, lead cash flow forecasting, budgeting and cost centre analysis, and help drive efficiencies across the business; you will oversee daily accounting operations and ensure controls and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support Financial Controller with cash flow forecasting, budgeting and cost centre analysis.
• Oversee daily accounting operations (sales ledger, purchase ledger, cashbook).
• Reconcile bank accounts, stock and supplier/customer accounts.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
