Job summary

Mansfield District Council is seeking a Financial Inclusion Officer to join the Housing Solutions Team in Mansfield. The role focuses on completing financial assessments for prospective tenants and identifying affordability for private rented housing, along with budgeting, benefit and debt support.

The successful candidate will support homelessness and Homefinder investigations and contribute to a busy, supportive team. DBS checks are required.

Financial Inclusion Officer

£17,964 - £21,168 per annum

22.5 hours per week – 3 days per week to be agreed

An opportunity has arisen to join Mansfield District Council as a Financial Inclusion Officer, working in the Housing Solutions Team.

You will join a bustling and supportive team to complete financial assessment for prospective tenants, identify affordability for the private rented housing sector, provide budgeting, benefit and debit support and assist in homelessness and Homefinder application investigations.
