Job summary

Mansfield District Council is seeking a Financial Inclusion Officer to join the Housing Solutions Team in Mansfield. You will assess finances for prospective tenants, identify affordability for private rented housing, and provide budgeting, benefit and debt support to customers.

The role requires handling homelessness and Homefinder investigations and will involve collaboration with a busy, supportive team.

An opportunity has arisen to join Mansfield District Council as a Financial Inclusion Officer, working in the Housing Solutions Team.

You will join a bustling and supportive team to complete financial assessment for prospective tenants,identify affordability for the private rented housing sector, provide budgeting, benefit and debit support and assist in homelessness and Homefinder application investigations.
