Job summary

Itchyfeet Recruitment Agency is seeking a Financial Data Analyst for a full-time role based in Jersey. The successful candidate will implement data governance standards to ensure data quality, lifecycle management, metadata, and data privacy, while supporting the business in understanding data collection, storage, usage, and deletion.

The role requires 3-4 years of data analysis experience and a degree in Engineering Sciences or Information Technology.

Qualifications

• First Degree in Engineering Sciences or Information Technology.
• 3-4 years of experience in data analysis and management.
• Understanding of data structures and how data moves between systems.
• Familiarity with data lifecycle management and regulatory standards.
• Experience with data security and quality as well as compliance risk management.
• Good problem-solving skills and knowledge of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Ability to articulate and document information clearly and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Implement data and information management operating standards including data quality and protection.
• Support the business in understanding data utilisation through analytical tools and methodologies.
• Drive adherence to the Data Governance Framework and elevate compliance issues.
• Articulate the value of data in business processes to help stakeholders understand its significance.
• Execute change management programmes to educate on data management and governance.
• Establish data quality rules and metrics to ensure consistency across data elements.
• Report on data-related information risks while collaborating with other risk partners.
