Our client, a highly regarded FinTech firm, is seeking to appoint an experienced Financial Crime Program Manager to join their dynamic team in London. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a high-performing team and act as a trusted partner, providing expert knowledge and advice across Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), and Sanctions Compliance.

As the Financial Crime Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining the AML/CTF compliance program, while designing and leading strategic initiatives to strengthen financial crime controls across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design AML/CTF controls, conduct risk analysis, and oversee the implementation of changes to the program.
2. Analyze financial crime trends and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
3. Advise on AML/CTF control design and propose process changes such as ID verification, risk-rating, and monitoring.
4. Develop and implement new controls and enhance existing compliance measures.
5. Perform AML/CTF risk analysis of customers, arrangements, and product features, proposing controls to mitigate risks.
6. Evaluate operational processes and recommend improvements to ensure compliance with UK laws, regulations, and industry standards.
7. Manage escalations for high-risk customers, supporting enhanced due diligence and mitigation processes.
8. Draft and maintain documentation for program changes aligned with regulatory updates, product changes, and internal policies.
9. Stay informed of regulatory developments, industry trends, and company roadmaps to support decision-making and ensure compliance.

Familiarity with consumer fraud typologies and controls is highly advantageous. Proven project management skills, from inception to delivery, are essential.
