Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking an Associate for its Analytics Team within the Financial Crime Management Group (FCMG) to support day-to-day transaction monitoring and reporting capabilities. You will act as a first point of contact for operational queries, producing and reconciling management information while coordinating across financial crime workstreams.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and data literacy skills to identify patterns, anomalies and discrepancies.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong Word, PowerPoint and written communication.
• Proactive, organized and detail-oriented with ability to meet deadlines and collaborate across systems and teams.

Responsibilities

• Support operation of a transaction monitoring and reporting solution.
• Provide day-to-day operating model support and coordinate between teams.
• Act as first contact for internal systems with guidance from Team Lead.
• Liaise with external vendors for licence allocation and access issues.
• Work across multiple systems and data sources to support analysis and reporting.
• Coordinate queries, updates and operational activities across financial crime teams.
• Assist with recurring and ad-hoc reporting and MI packs.
